Pre-Ordering

Pre-orders are the most reliable way for us and for you to guarantee that you get the book you want.

Due to increasing customer numbers, it is becoming more and more difficult for us to calculate how many copies are actually needed.

Pre-orders give us a certain amount of clarity about how many books we need at the very least

and prevent possible frustration with titles that sell out quickly.

As an incentive from our side, we guarantee a lower pre-order price than on the release date.

For pre-ordering, please note the following:

Rules for pre-ordering books

1. the order must be paid for directly when placed, but can be cancelled at any time afterwards.

2. an order is always the same as a shipping action. Only when the last item from your pre-order has reached us is it complete and can be dispatched. If you do not want to wait, it is better to place several orders.

3. certain bulky or heavy products such as box sets or artist editions may have their own shipping rules, which are always stated on the product page.

4. please note that release dates may be changed by publishers at any time without our control. We will provide appropriate information on the postponement of a release date.

Further information

In the description of each item you will find both the release date and the FOC pre-order date. FOC means "Final Order Cutoff", which is the last day we can accept orders for that item at the discounted pre-order price.

We expand the programme from month to month as new books are officially released in the catalogue.

When will my order be delivered?

The publication date is indicated in the description of each item.

Please note that publishers can still change the publication date at short notice.

Theoretically, we should have all books before or on the day of publication, but given the general transport problems, we cannot guarantee this.

If the new books are listed on our website, it means that your pre-order is already being processed or has been put into storage in case the order is still incomplete. Pre-orders are always given priority, so you will always receive the book first.

Please always remember: as long as you don't hear from us, everything is going according to plan. You will receive your book!
